An ongoing meditation class on a Wednesday lunchtime, which will introduce and explore different meditation technques, in particular the various pranayama and meditation practices of the mystical yogic traditions of kriya yoga and kundalini yoga, as well as mantra chanting and visualisation. Other types of meditation practice we may explore: mindfulness and body awareness, 'tonglen' and compassionate world service meditations, certain movements with pranayama or mantra, chakra development/energy work visualisations and maybe the occasional bit of yoga nidra (complete body relaxation lying down) as a treat!
No experience and no belief system necessary. This course is an experiential journey aimed to help you explore your inner spiritual self in a beautiful space of peace where you can take time out to relax and let go of day-to-day pressures, enabling you to find what feels best for you and to more easily connect to your soul. The meditations are inclusive of all faiths (and none) and are aimed at raising personal and planetary consciousness.
I also offer Esoteric Healing sessions at Aristia on a Wednesday. If you'd like to experience the transformative effects of spiritual energy healing, then please get in contact to arrange a session

Express Your Creative Spirit - Sound, Dance & Gentle Yoga Workshop
Saturday 1st November 2014, 10am – 5.30pm - Westbourne Parish Hall, Emsworth, Hampshire
To coincide with the special time of Samhain/All Saints Day when the veil is thinner, we are excited to offer you this joyous workshop to lift your spirits and raise your vibration: A fun and joyous day of free improvisation and expression using music, movement, dance and voice, interspersed with some gentle yoga, meditation and relaxation times.
No experience is necessary, there are no wrong notes, sounds or ways of moving and you will be guided in a safe atmosphere of trust and support to let go and find your own unique way of allowing the creative energies to flow and express through you. You can dive right in and take part in it all or you can choose to step back for quiet moments of reflection and rest as we journey together throughout the day. We value whatever energies you bring!
Set your spirit free and step into your personal empowerment through allowing your voice, body and soul to be seen, heard and appreciated. Allow the alchemy to unfold within you through this process so you can radiate your true Self! Our voices and bodies are our unique ways of presenting and expressing ourselves in this life and we often do not fully appreciate and honour the gift and blessing that they are. We aim to have such fun playing together through use of sound and movement and through basking in the stillness of meditation that you will feel great release and leave this workshop glowing and inspired with greater clarity about your life!
We will begin the day with yoga, movement and meditation to set us off on the right foot! So please bring a yoga mat/picnic blanket and extra blanket/cushions so that you can feel warm and comfortable sitting/lying on the floor (chairs will be available too). We suggest you bring a bottle of water for practical reasons when moving around the space as well as a packed lunch for the day. Additional filtered water and herbal teas will be provided. (Feel free to bring your own preferred tea bags/coffee/milk if you wish too.) Please also wear or bring with you loose/comfortable clothes for freely moving and stretching in during the yoga and dance sessions. If you have any of your own acoustic (non-electronic) instruments, then please feel free to bring them along, whatever level of playing. Please arrive around 9.45am so that we can get started at 10am.
This day is facilitated by Sarah and Alexia. Sarah (www.hutch32.wix.com) is a theatre director, qualified teacher of drama and specialises in expression, movement and improvisation. Alexia (www.oceanofbliss.co.uk) has spent many years studying as a classical musician and has also trained in the Lifemusic method of music improvisation, esoteric energy healing, counselling and kundalini yoga.

'Journey through Sound' Workshop
Elisabetta and Alexia invite you to join them for JOURNEY THROUGH SOUND
Saturday 5th October 2013 at Westbourne Parish Hall, Emsworth, near Chichester
Two workshops in one day: in the morning we enjoy our voices through toning and harmonics;
in the afternoon we make improvised music with voice and instruments.
No experience is needed, only an openness and willingness to explore our innate creativity.
The morning session, from 11.00 am to 1.00 pm, will be facilitated by Elisabetta Noto and Andrew Burridge(www.theradiantvoice.com). We shall gather in a respectful and supportive circle and intone extended vocalisations together. This simple yet powerful technique (called toning) creatively engages the voice while engendering a depth of stillness that deeply calms the mind and increases vivid presence; our voices naturally and without effort produce vibrations and rich overtones that fill the space with light. Participants report feeling joyous, uplifted and revitalised in mind, body and spirit, and are often astonished at rediscovering the moving beauty of their resonant voices.
The afternoon session, from 2.00 pm - 4.00 pm, will be facilitated by Alexia Gibbs (www.oceanofbliss.co.uk) andElisabetta Noto. We shall gather in the spirit of trust and communication and make gentle music improvisation with a variety of colourful, easy-access instruments and voice, following the principles of the Lifemusic method: everyone is musical; there are no 'wrong notes'; every sound we make has a meaning; making improvised music together is an act of trust, joy and wellbeing. Those who experience music improvisation with the Lifemusic method report feeling joyous, elated, and empowered with increased self-confidence in re-discovering their ability to make lovely music together(regardless of any prior musical training).
Advance booking is required: Morning workshop: £ 7.00. Afternoon workshop: £ 10.00. Both workshops booked together: £15.00. Two people booking together receive a discount of £1 per person. Three or more people booking together receive a discount of £2 per person. Please email email@example.com or contact Alexia via the contact page on this site.
Tea, herbal teas, coffee and biscuits will be provided but please bring bottled water with you, and a packed lunch if you are attending both sessions.
Date: Saturday 5th October 2013 - 11.00 am until 4.00 pm (registration from 10.45 am for morning workshop & from 1.45 pm for afternoon workshop)
